Solo Exhibition Caffè Bargioni

Mattia Paoli
Solo Exhibition
September – November 2025
Caffè Bargioni, Florence
(Via Giampaolo Orsini 103R, near Piazza Ferrucci)

Press Release

From September to November 2025, the tea room of Caffè Bargioni in Florence hosts a new solo exhibition by Mattia Paoli, featuring over ten previously unseen works.

In this project, Paoli presents a collection of abstract paintings created on raw and recycled canvases, where matter, color, and reflection become the protagonists. Golden and metallic drippings, soft glazes, circular gestures, and tactile textures evoke sunset skies, cascading rain, and suspended inner landscapes between light and substance.

Through these works, the artist transforms his perceptions of the surrounding world into abstract universes where color and material engage in a free dialogue, beyond structural boundaries.
Compared to his earlier exhibitions marked by geometric traces and tangible signs this new series explores the meeting point between light, color, and time, giving life to suspended, dynamic spaces vibrating with chromatic energy.

Throughout the exhibition, the artist will host in-person meetings announced on his social channels.
