Artwork FAQ

Answers to the questions collectors most often ask before purchasing an artwork. For anything not covered here, write to us at info.nojculture@gmail.com.

Authenticity

Does each artwork come with a certificate of authenticity?

Yes. Each artwork is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

Is the artwork an original or a print?

Every listing states the technique, support, dimensions and year of creation, so you can see whether a work is a unique piece or a print. Where an edition is limited, the listing states the size of the edition (for example, "Limited edition of 10").

Do I acquire the copyright?

No. Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright. The artist, Mattia Paoli, retains all rights unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Framing and presentation

Is the artwork supplied framed?

The dimensions in each listing refer to the artwork as described. If you are unsure whether a frame is included, please contact us before ordering and we will confirm it for you.

How is the artwork packed?

Depending on the artwork, its size and medium, works are shipped either rolled in a protective tube, or stretched and securely packed in a protective box or specialised packaging. The shipping method is indicated on the product page or confirmed before dispatch.

Who stretches or frames a rolled artwork?

For rolled artworks, stretching or framing after delivery is the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed. Where a print is supplied with extended margins to make stretching and framing easier, this is stated in the listing.

Shipping

How long does it take to prepare my order?

Orders are typically processed within 3-7 business days. For original artworks or made-to-order pieces, processing times may vary and will be communicated after purchase.

Where do you ship, and how long does delivery take?

We ship worldwide using trusted courier services. Delivery times depend on the destination and the shipping method selected at checkout.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and on the size and weight of the artwork.

Will I have to pay customs duties?

International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties or taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.

Returns and damaged artworks

Can I return an artwork?

Consumers in the European Union generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving the artwork, without giving a reason. Please contact us at info.nojculture@gmail.com before sending anything back. Following a change of mind, the cost of the return is the responsibility of the customer; we recommend a fully trackable and insured shipping service. Custom-made or commissioned artworks are generally excluded from the right of withdrawal. Full details are in our Refund policy.

What should I do if the artwork arrives damaged?

Contact us as soon as possible after delivery and send photographs of the outer packaging, the inner packaging, the artwork and any visible damage, together with your order number. Please keep all packaging until the matter is resolved, as it may be needed for a carrier claim.

Commissions and professional purchases

Do you work with galleries, designers and businesses?

Yes. For purchases by galleries, art dealers, interior designers, hospitality businesses and other professionals, and for multiple-artwork or commissioned works, we provide individual quotations, shipping arrangements and commercial terms. Please write to us to discuss your project.
