Orizzonte II is a horizontal painting on canvas characterised by vibrant colours, spontaneous gestures and a dynamic interplay of textures. Dominated by shades of blue and subtle greenish reflections, the composition evokes the vivid atmosphere, colours and sensory richness of the Brazilian world.

The surface is shaped through immediate marks left by the rollers, which gently carve into the layers of colour, creating delicate grooves, variations in texture and subtle material depth. These gestures preserve the spontaneity of the creative process, capturing the movement and energy of each passing moment.

The horizontal format recalls the vastness of a distant horizon, where colours seem to merge and dissolve into one another. The interplay between blue and green suggests reflections of light, water and tropical landscapes, without defining a precise place or image.

The artwork is painted on recycled raw canvas made from coffee sacks, handcrafted by artisan Carlo Mottola of Aversa. This material choice reinforces the dialogue between matter and perception, grounding the ethereal landscape in a tangible, lived surface.
