This large work, painted by Mattia Paoli between 2021 and 2025, is a new work presented for the first time in his solo exhibition at the Gadarte Gallery from 11 to 16 January 2025. AB#191 Horizon explores the theme of infinite horizons through an abstract language of horizontal stripes in shades of gold, white, blue and red, with touches of black breaking up the chromatic continuity. The bold use of colour and texture underlines Paoli's research into the fusion of space and matter, evoking boundless mental landscapes. This composition, with its chromatic superimpositions, invites the viewer to reflect on open perspectives and infinite possibilities, overcoming traditional visual and conceptual barriers.
