“Mexico” is an evolving work, painted and modified several times by the artist, which explores the fascination with Mexican landscapes and art history, with particular attention to the traces left by the Surrealists. The round canvas, with abstract horizontal brushstrokes, evokes a horizon in which dark green intertwines, at a certain point, with white and red, symbols of a land where magic and healing come together. The work is a reminder of the connection between nature, spirituality and creativity, elements typical of the Mexican context.
