This photograph captures a fallen tree within a dense forest, documenting a natural environment that exists beyond the familiar boundaries of urban life.
Moving through the forest, I found myself immersed in a world of natural elements, hidden dangers and unfamiliar sensations. These are experiences that have gradually become less tangible in contemporary cities, where nature is often distant, controlled or almost entirely absent. As a result, our perception of danger in the natural world has become increasingly abstract.
The fallen tree becomes a symbol of this encounter with a world that does not revolve around human presence. It invites us to reconsider our relationship with nature, confronting the contrast between the controlled environments we inhabit and the unpredictable reality of the natural world.
My desire to explore and understand leads me towards these unfamiliar places, where nature reveals its own rhythms, forces and forms of existence. Through photography, I seek to capture fragments of this encounter, preserving moments that encourage us to look beyond our everyday perception.
The photograph is printed on high-quality canvas in a vertical format, with a wide black border designed to allow the work to be stretched onto a frame at a later stage. The canvas is carefully packaged and shipped rolled to ensure safe delivery.
